Pinnacle is located in Sligoville, St. Catherine, Jamaica.  It consists of over 500 acres of land. It is the Black man’s heritage of self reliance and a gift of love to the Rastafari community worldwide by Leonard P. Howell.  Now we are in danger of loosing this Heritage site and need your help to save Pinnacle.

Our Glorious Pinnacle Heritage Site is under attack and need your help.  Pinnacle is the first RasTafari settlement and the home of the Reggae Music and RasTafari Kulture, which is a peaceful and global Movement.  The Estate is rich in archaeological significance to Jamaica and the World heritage as a seat of resistance against colonialism.  Pinnacle is the Laboratory of self reliance.

Welcome to our Three-Part Series Presenting an Introspective View into the Founding Father of Rastafari, Leonard Percival Howell. His Benevolent, Right, and Excellent Example of Self Determination towards Sovereignty and Sustainability has influenced many throughout the planet. This honorable work has now become the foundation on which generations are building upon.

Part 1 presents Monty Howell, his eldest of children give an account of his father, his triumphs and tribulations, and perseverance in the horrific face of blatant suppression from foreign and local elements. This attack against the ‘Gong’ (as he was affectionately called) was all sanctioned by Imperial and Colonial systems. Presented will be an overview of Monty Howell’s account from Pinnacle to the Rastafari Diaspora in the new book, ‘Milestones of life among RastafarI’.

Represented will be Ras Miguel Lorne and Dr. Michael Barnett who have done exceptional works in promoting and educating on the life and work of Leonard P. Howell. Our benevolent Sisters Fan’aye SunLight-Selassie and Dr. Imani TafarI Ama will be our host and co-host respectively for this wonderful event!

We will continue to advocate for the recognition and honor Leonard P. Howell deserves and honor all those who have continued his work. Rastafari Lives as the seeds have spread four corners of this earth and taken root to bear fruit in this time.

Leonard Percival Howell was born in the Parish of Clarendon, Jamaica. W.I. On June 16th, 1898. He died in Kingston, Jamaica. W.I. In 1981. He was born a hero, a scholar and beyond the shadow of a doubt died a hero defending his race.
